USPS Pricing Changes

The USPS has instituted pricing changes. The USPS retail rate for letters and flats (5×7 and 8×10 envelopes) at some weights have increased. The increases range from $0.02 to a high end of $0.15 per package.

However, items considered a Parcel have gone up more substantially in some cases. Customers using stay flat mailers, tubes and selling mugs should note the increases and plan accordingly.

For example:

Parcel – Zone 6 (actual prices will depend on your postal zone)
6×8 Stayflat – Customer Increase of $0.17
9×11 Stayflat – Customer Increase of $0.23
10×14 Stayflat-Customer Increase of $0.23

Mug – Customer Increase of $0.20 – this product typically costs between $5 and $6 to ship.
Consider adding additional shipping charges for this product if you are using our CORE ecommerce system to collect your orders.

Tube – 10×18 – Customer Increase of $0.17
Tube – 10×24 or 10×30 – Customer Increase of $0.23

CCS is concerned about customers having the ability to use shipping as a profit center and we will continue to explore more cost effective alternatives as it makes sense. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
