CCS Pandemic Update

We continue to be in a difficult situation. The reality is that most of the world is stressed and worried. For every business doing well in this difficult environment – there are 9 doing poorly. The good news is that we can each choose how we react to it. We can dip into negativity – or we dig deep, work hard, and use our time well to come out of the other side ready to take off.

Be positive – Act each day with a sense of urgency – There will be winners and losers over this whole mess. I promise you that the folks who think positively and work smart through it will be the winners. The negative ones who don’t use their time productively may not survive it.

What can you do when there are no events occurring?

  • Turn off Fox News or CNN during working hours – Don’t let it influence your mood, etc.
  • Be a resourceful, self-starter
    • Get up and “get ready” each day – make it a “real 9 to 5 workday” – i.e. Dolly Parton
    • Make a list of the things you want to accomplish each day
  • Be open to doing some new things
    • The world is now using ZOOM – be sure you are – many are selling with it now
    • The reality is that folks ARE reaching “gatekeepers” now with Zoom – so should you
    • CCS Support can help you learn Zoom. We should do it on ALL of our calls
  • Market old events online – via email and text – do it for Mothers’ Day, Graduations, Sports
    • This can turn into thousands of dollars for you – Don’t miss out
    • This should be double downed on!
  • Create a list of all prospects in your area – schools, leagues, dance studios, event planners
    • Be resourceful and get contact info
    • Once you have targets – Reach out to decision makers and build new relationships
  • Front Porch Portraits could work for you – it IS working for some people
  • Get more training on our CCS software so you can maximize its power.
  • Consider doing some virtual graduations this year
    • It could be the way into photographing them next year
    • We have put together an AMAZING program – please take advantage of it
  • Did you get an SBA loan? If not – keep trying – more money is now available if you act fast
  • Use this “down time” to get the jump on your competition

Sincerely,

Jack Counts
