Old registration is officially retired

The old event registration page https://photomatch.candid.com/registrations is officially retired. Here’s the link to the new “EVENT” registration page. https://regis.viewyour.photos/kiosk/Acct#/Event# (link is template only and does not work)

To make this transition easier, if you do end up on the old site, after you key in your event # and acct # it automatically redirects you to the new event registration page.

Things to note…

1. There are two types of registration

a. Event registration (when all go to the same website url), which is what the old registration site did. URL https://regis.viewyour.photos/kiosk/Acct#/Event# (link is template only and does not work) This is the link photographers should share with an organization to share with participants when you cannot get a roster.

b. Individual registration (when each person goes to their own unique registration url) where data collected is automatically associated with the name assigned to that QR registration code. URL https://viewyour.photos/uniqueQRregistrationCode (link is template only and does not work) this link is unique and should ONLY be used by the person it’s assigned to. This link can be emailed or printed on cards.

2. The new registration will look just like the old one if you don’t go to the setup page and change any defaults

3. You now have multiple customization options when setting up the new registration page which can be done on the workflow level or the event level (again, if you do nothing, it will look just like it did originally)

a. Custom data fields DO NOT automatically import, so any data collected using custom fields will need to be exported and possibly reimported depending on what the data is being used for. Example: if you ask a question and the answer is to be used as a title on a product, you will need to export the data, assign the column the appropriate title header and import it back into CORE before ordering the product. Asking for a quote to put on a Personal Achievement Graphic is an example.

4. If you DO NOT WANT registrations to automatically process and show up in CORE and PhotoMatch you WILL need to make that selection on the QR Registration Setup

a. Example of when you would NOT want registrations to process would be an event where you have a roster imported and you want to match registrations to names you already have so it doesn’t duplicate

b. Note: when the manually process option is checked names WILL NOT drop into PhotoMatch until manually imported into CORE, so if doing registrations on site as a way for the photographer to pull up the name in PhotoMatch you should NOT check this option.
