CORE now catches and warns the user when importing a spreadsheet that will duplicate names.
Note: If importing a NameID column, this feature is bypassed.
This new UI screen is only shown if any duplicate names are detected during the pre-validation step. If a duplicate name is detected this warning screen appears and give the user these options
- only import the contact and add it to the existing name (recommended)
- do not import the additional data
- Import duplicate as a new name
This SHOULD prevent those who export data and reimport from duplicating their names.
