New Retail Website Changes Coming!

To make improvements on the retail website, CCS hired a consultant who is known in the industry as one of the best web designers. This person has contracts with Dell to do their websites so we knew we were in good hands. In working with this person we spent time pouring over 21 similar websites of our competitors and indirect competitors (Walgreens, Shutterfly…). We spent time reviewing our existing customer wish list, our marketing wish list, examining weaknesses and strengths of the current site, and the need for one website that will display on both Mobile and Desktop.

We discovered a real need to improve Desktop displays but also include features and functionality on Mobile that already existed on Desktop. We know that ecommerce struggles with lower conversion rates on Mobile across all industries. But as more customers are using Mobile we want to work on closing the conversion gap.

Here are some changes you’ll see in the coming months to both Desktop and Mobile:

Desktop Improvements:

  • Continue ability to brand your page with your logos
  • Larger Group/Horizontal images
  • Using 100% of the display screen based on monitor size
  • Clean fresh look
  • Tools that work both on Desktop and Mobile

Mobile Improvements:

  • Better branding with your logos
  • Larger Group/Horizonal images
  • Uses 100% of screen and will resize based on phone/tablet size
  • Clean fresh look
  • Tools that work on both Desktop and Mobile
